NEW ACCESS ARRANGEMENTS TO FESTIVAL CAR PARK
Anyone travelling to Skegness under the Government's stay local restrictions over the Easter bank holiday weekend are reminded that new entrance and exit arrangements will be in place to the main Festival Car Park.
Supported through the Government's Towns Fund accelerated grant, works are currently close to completion to pedestrianise part of Tower Esplanade and make this area a much safer and more attractive setting for the public to spend time in.
Through these new arrangements, entrance and exit to the main Festival Car Park will be via Princes Parade and only emergency vehicles (at all times) and deliveries to local businesses (before 10am) will be permitted access to the Esplanade beyond the mini-roundabout.
Access to the Embassy Centre car park is not impacted by these works and all users of the Festival Car Park will still be able to access the main Esplanade, beach and promenade areas on foot as before.
A plan of the new access arrangements and alternative car parks in Skegness are available via East Lindsey District Council's website at: https://www.e-lindsey.gov.uk/parking
