Volunteers Needed for Remembrance Parade

Arrangements are well underway for this years Remembrance Parade which will take place on Sunday 10th November 2019. Once again the parade will leave from Hildreds Service Yard off Beresford Avenue, please arrive at 10:15am to assemble ready to march at 10:30am.

The parade will turn left onto Beresford Avenue, then left onto Lumley Road. It will then proceed along Lumley Road before turning right onto Lumley Avenue then straight ahead onto St Matthew's Church. Road closures will be in place so please plan your route and deliveries around this temporary road closure.

This parade is only possible due to the support of the Hildreds Centre, LCBID, the Royal British Legion and the members of the public and Council staff that volunteer their time to help marshal the parade.

We are looking for volunteers to help marshal the parade. If you would like to help, please contact the Deputy Town Clerk on 01754 766113 or email info@skegnesscouncil.org.uk
