EXTRA GP APPOINTMENTS NOW AVAILABLE AT EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS

Lincolnshire East Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is pleased to confirm that all patients within the CCG area can now access general practice services at evenings and weekends. This is an extension of your usual GP services and is for routine booked appointments.

Patients now have access to GP services at evenings and weekends if they are registered with a local GP Practice. The booked appointment will take place at one of three local extended access hubs.

All appointments can be booked through your own GP practice or through NHS111 when your practice is closed, either for same day booked appointments or to book in advance.

Details of the current local extended access hub pilots that patients can access are listed below:-

Woldside, Louth Hospital, Louth LN11 0EU

For patients registered at: Binbrook Surgery, Caistor Health Centre, New Coningsby Surgery, Horncastle Medical Group, James Street Family Practice, East Lindsey Medical Group (Newmarket and Wolds Practices), Market Rasen Surgery, Marsh Medical Practice, North Thoresby Practice, Woodhall Spa New Surgery, Tasburgh Lodge Surgery in Woodhall Spa and The Wragby Surgery.

Ingoldmells Branch of Beacon Medical Practice which is on Skegness Road, PE25 1JL

For patients registered at: Beacon Medical Practice, Hawthorn Medical Practice, Spilsby Surgery, Marisco Medical Practice, Merton Lodge at Alford and Stickney Surgery.

The Sidings Medical Practice, Sleaford Road, Boston, PE21 8EG

MINOR INJURIES SERVICE AVAILABLE AT HORNCASTLE MEDICAL GROUP

People in the Horncastle area are being reminded that they can access a Minor Injuries Service at Horncastle Medical Group, even if they are not registered at the practice.

Able to help with injuries that need urgent attention but are not critical or life threatening, the Minor Injuries Service is available to adults and children, and can treat the following:

  • Sprains, strains, cuts and grazes
  • Arm, foot and leg injuries
  • Bites, minor burns and scalds
  • Minor head injuries
  • Bruises
  • Stings
  • Removal of foreign bodies (excluding from the eyes)

The Minor Injuries Service is open from 8am to 6pm from Monday to Friday and you don't need an appointment.

The Minor Injuries Service at Horncastle Medical Group provides an invaluable service for local people, including those not registered at the practice and you will be assessed and treated by the practice nursing staff, and you don't need an appointment.

A Minor Injuries Service like that at Horncastle Medical Group will often see people who have originally presented at an A&E with a condition that isn't critical or life threatening.
