Pavilion Project Consultation - Skegness Town Council would be based in the Pavilion. Would this location be convenient to you? Do you see any advantage or disadvantage?

Skegness Town Council would be based in the building, ensuring smooth running and management.

Skegness Town Council is a separate, much smaller authority than East Lindsey District Council which currently pays a rent and service charge to ELDC for a small office space in the Town Hall, this money will be saved by locating to the new building.

Any office space will be less than 20% of the total building footprint.

The Council employs one full time and three part time office staff at the moment.

The onsite employees will take the bookings for the rooms and help ensure the smooth management, running and sustainability of the building, they will ensure the tea room is set up managed adequately, arrange maintenance and pay bills for the building as well as manage the current Council responsibilities.

The Town Council believes having an office in a central location will be more accessible for people when they need to visit the offices to arrange burial spaces, allotments etc.

Would this location to attend Council meetings or visit the Town Council on any other business be convenient to you?

Do you see any advantage or disadvantage for the Town Council by relocating its office?
