Recent Government guidelines have changed which suggests that people can go out on day trips to take their exercise.
I just want to remind everyone that Skegness is still closed and that no facilities are available. If lots of people come to Skegness you will be less able to maintain social distancing rules and be more likely to spread the virus, put local people at risk and put a strain on the NHS.... Skegness Town Council are proud to announce that Tower Gardens Pavilion has won the 2020 Regional RICS Social Impact Awards for the Leisure category and will now go forward to the National finals.

Anyone in England with symptoms of coronavirus who has to leave home to go to work, and all symptomatic members of the public aged 65 and over, will now be able to get tested.
This will mean people who cannot work from home and those aged 65 and over can know for sure whether they have coronavirus and need to continue isolating.

Skegness Town Council have temporarily cancelled meetings based on advice from the National Association of Local Councils, until it is safe to meet or emergency legislation permits virtual meetings by video conferencing or telephone.
The Council will continue to provide essential services such as burials but some services will be stopped to comply with government restrictions.
