Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for Skegness
Skegness Neighbourhood Development Plan Referendum
The Town Council has been working on developing a NDP for Skegness since 2015 and has gone through various stages of consultation and evidence gathering. The Council has been guided by experts in the field and with help from local business and community organisations as well as members of the public now has a final version of the plan. The NDP has been examined by an independent planning inspector and recommended for referendum.
The final version of the Plan was approved by Skegness Town Council at it's meeting on Wednesday 7th September 2022. The plan was submitted to East Lindsey District Council who have arrange a referendum to take place on Thursday 23rd February 2023 to decide on the question below:
"Do you want East Lindsey District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Skegness to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area".

Hard copies of all the documents are available to view from the Skegness Town Council office at Tower Gardens Pavilion.
