Animal Fouling
Dog fouling in a public place is an offence.
If you do not clear up after your dog has fouled in public areas, East Lindsey District Council can issue a fixed penalty notice.
The current level of fine for a fixed penalty notice is £75.00. If you are issued with a fixed penalty notice you must pay the amount due within 14 days. If you fail to pay the amount due, the matter will be referred to a solicitor.
If you can help to identify anyone who lets their dog foul in public areas, then please contact East Lindsey District Council.
