Sunshine Park Skegness Town Council - New children's play area

SKEGNESS Town Council has been given a clear path by East Lindsey District Council to develop a children’s play area on the former Sunshine Paddling Pool at the heart of the resort’s northern foreshore. The District Council’s Executive Board agreed to grant the Town Council a long term lease at its meeting on January 13, 2009.

The Mayor of Skegness, Councillor Neil Pimperton, said: “The Town Council is keen to develop a first class play area in this part of town and this decision means we can now press ahead. It is important that the town provides an exciting range of high quality facilities that can be enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.”
