MAYOR OF SKEGNESS 2009 ~ 2010
Mayor's Charity: Skegness Friends of Cancer Research Organisation & the Children’s Centre

Ken and I are looking forward to the forthcoming year as Mayor and Consort, and will do our best to represent and promote Skegness at all times to the best of our ability. I, like many others, visited Skegness often as a child. After leaving school I was employed here, met and married Ken, settling here permanently in the 1960’s. Skegness is a wonderful place to settle and raise a family, and it has much to offer everyone, the visitors as well as the residents, and I am honoured to have been able to serve the community as a whole.

Mayors Charity: I have chosen two charities, the Skegness Friends of Cancer Research Organisation, who work very hard raising funds for this very important cause, and also the Children’s Centre on Brunswick Drive, who do so much to support the local families within the community. If you would like to help to support my charities in any way, please contact the office at the Town Hall with the details.

Alternatively if you would like to hold a coffee morning or other fundraising event to help my charity Ken and I would only be to attend please contact the Town Hall with the details.

We look forward to hearing from you and working with you in the forthcoming year.

Cllr Mrs Pat Phillips (Town Mayor)
