The Council passed a resolution to become a partner in the Coastal Community Partnership. The partnership has been established to help partners along the coast to bring greater prosperity to communities and exploit the benefits of the new Localism laws, including accessing funding.

Skegness Town Council has launched a new website. This will now include up to date agendas, minutes and reports for meetings and a new Planning section with links to planning applications. The Council is keen to keep developing the site and will be pleased to recive any feedback about content you wish to see.

Skegness Town Council has decided to leave its precept at the 2011/12 level despite inflationery pressures. Council Tax payers in Skegness will pay no more for Skegness Town Council services in 2012/13 than they did this year.
