Skegness Town Council has decided to take tougher action against those who refuse to follow the rules about how graves should be maintained.
St Mary's cemetery is and always has been a lawn cemetery. Graves in sections are side by side with no paths between, and access to all areas is over the grassed graves. Pet theft awareness week (14th to 21st March 2017) is held to raise awareness of pet theft across the country.
