Police have received a report that a person, possibly from Spain has booked a hotel room in the local area and then shortly before the arrival date has contacted the hotel to say they were unable to attend.
The hotel has refunded monies and later found that the funds from the person booking has not reached their account.

Lincolnshire Police will be holding a security marking and crime prevention surgery on Wednesday the 22nd February 2017 outside of the Hildred's Centre, Skegness between 10am and 2pm.
Members of the Skegness NPT will be on hand providing Crime Prevention advice and providing property marking kits free of charge, also marking kits for the Allotment, caravan and Push Bikes.

Agents & Prospective Candidates briefing session for 2017 Lincolnshire County Council Elections in East Lindsey
An open briefing session will be held by the Returning Officer Stuart Davy for anyone intending to stand in the East Lindsey area for the Lincolnshire County Council elections on May 4.
The briefing for Agents and Prospective Candidates will start at 5.30pm on Friday, March 10 and will take place at the District Council Offices, Tedder Hall, Manby.
